At Victory Promise, we are more than just a childcare center—we are a nurturing community where children are encouraged to learn, grow, and shine. Victory Promise is a ministry of Victory Tabernacle Church, founded by Pastor James P. Perkins, dedicated to providing Christ-centered childcare and early learning to the community. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment that fosters early learning, creativity, and confidence. With a commitment to high-quality education and individualized care, we partner with families to support each child’s unique journey. From infants to preschoolers, we create age-appropriate learning experiences that inspire curiosity, independence, and a love for learning. We invite you to explore our programs and discover how Victory Promise can be a foundation for your child’s future success. Let’s grow together!

Our Staff

Shenetta McGill
Director, Victory Promise Childcare & Early Learning Center
As the Director of Victory Promise Childcare & Early Learning Center, I am honored to lead a faith-based learning community dedicated to fostering the growth, confidence, and well-being of every child. A proud native of Raleigh, North Carolina, and a product of the Wake County Public School System, my passion for education was sparked early and has remained the driving force of my career.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Johnson C. Smith University, a distinguished historically Black university in Charlotte, North Carolina. I then earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from Gardner-Webb University.
Since beginning my teaching career in 2008, I have remained committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child is valued, encouraged to explore, and empowered to reach their full potential. With over 15 years of experience in education, I understand the transformative power of building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
At Victory Promise, we believe that education is more than just academics—it is about shaping the hearts and minds of young learners. Every child who walks through our doors is not just a student but part of our family. Our mission is to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care that nurtures a lifelong love of learning and helps each child shine in their God-given purpose.
Beyond my professional role, my greatest joy is being a wife to Jermaine and a proud mother to Reagan and Mel. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, biking, and spending time outdoors.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve children and families, and I look forward to continuing to make a meaningful impact at Victory Promise.
